With countries across the globe scrambling to continue their services in the wake of massive quarantining to curse the spread of COVID-19, property portals have looked outside the box to not only keep their companies in business, but to give back to their respective communities.

Speedhome, a Malaysian real estate listing platform, is offering a month's rent-free stay at rental properties around the 11 hospitals in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor for health professionals who are working with COVID-19 patients to shorten the commute for these professionals in hopes to not only make their lives a little easier, but to also lower the amount of people they could interact with outside of the hospitals.

For short-term housing solution and proptech platform, ReloQuest, it's new RQ PRO automated platform is offering more temporary business housing with a new suite of features and services. The company said the platform will be valuable during this pandemic, helping business travelers stay safe.

RQ PRO offers a mobile-based experience that can be accessed from anywhere, at any time.

In Indian, real estate portal, Nestaway, is waiving fees and service charges for new tenants who have been evicted from other housing during this crucial time.

For many companies, the goal has shifted from staying relevant to using their respective services to help those in need while COVID-19 sweeps across the globe. These are just some of the measures property portals are taking to give back.
