Leading data-driven HR tech company in Asia, Peoplewave, has taken home the award for "Startup Most Likely to Succeed in 2019" at the Asia Tech Podcast (ATP) Pitchdeck 2019 Awards.
The 2019 Pitchdeck Asia Awards is an opportunity for the Asian Startup Ecosystem to shine a spotlight on some of its best startups. The awards were decided by a public vote. More than 7,200 votes were cast by registered LinkedIn users across 14 categories amongst 400+ nominated startups in Asia. Peoplewave came in overall top across all categories with the most number of votes.
“We’re very happy to have the support and votes of so many people. Being a pioneer in the HR tech space is not easy as we’re here to challenge what’s wrong with poor people management. With so many people believing in our vision and purpose, this reaffirms our belief that there’s a strong need in the market to reinvent HR and people management,” said Damien Cummings, CEO of Peoplewave.
Graham Brown, Founder and Show Host of Asia Tech Podcast said: “It’s great to see so many people come together to support the Asian startup community. Our goal is to give the Asian Tech Ecosystem a voice by showcasing some of the most amazing startups here and Peoplewave is definitely one of the most promising ventures I’ve seen. I look forward to seeing Peoplewave achieve great things soon.”
