WisdomJobs' CEO and Founder Ajay Kolla has been hailed as a role model for young entrepreneurs, appearing routinely on TV and giving speeches at public events. Leading financial daily, Economic Times, published an article about Mr. Kolla, featuring his success story; how he turned a small start-up into a multi-billion empire. The company was also highlighted in 2016 as the country's top SME 50 index, and it was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by India's biggest apex trade association, the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM).
However, as per the Gulf News' article, Wisdom Jobs was accused of not posting any valid jobs. Some employment seekers using the site claimed to have encountered either fake job posts or copied from other recruitment portals. They also stated that phone interviews arranged by Wisdom Jobs with prospective employers may have instead been answered by call center agents working for the jobs portal.
