Property investment specialist portal Ofirio has launched a rent estimator tool that tells US-based investors maximise rental revenues and minimise risk.
The rent calculator is powered by AI and real-time data, and allows property owners to get a rent estimation for their property based on address, zip code or city. The tool also lets investors review historical rent price trends—up to 48 months in the past.
Ofirio's rent estimator has search filters including locations radius, house price, year built, and local amenities to improve accuracy.
The tool is free to use.
Ofirio's investment offering is end-to-end, including finding potential investment properties, rent estimation, investment calculators, investment forecasts and deal closure.
Nick Polyushkin, co-founder at Ofirio, said:
"The idea came to mind when as an agent and broker, I had always received questions about rental valuations, and it always took hours to do the estimation.
"We believe it should be much easier to get realistic numbers to plan your future investments and rentals; you shouldn't have to fill out hundreds of rows and columns in spreadsheets to keep track of your own research. Now with the Ofirio Rent Estimator tool, it takes a blink of an eye to get an estimate for rent price.
"Ofirio Rent Estimator is an amazing tool for evaluating fair rental value for the property and the selected city, area or zip code. Now future tenants or real estate investors can estimate rent for a certain property in a matter of seconds."
Technological updates is the name of the game in the US portal industry at the moment, with Ofirio joining the likes of Zillow to update its offering—with the latter launching AI-assisted home tours, new "move-in date" and "hide home" filters in the past months.
Ofirio's rent estimator launches during a challenging time in the US housing market, with Realtor.com the latest big name portal to layoff staff in the midst of a market downturn.
