Imobiliare, the leading portal in Romania, has completed the acquisition of DSA Advisor, one of the biggest mortgage lenders in the country.
Both businesses will share operational and digital processes to pursue independent, mutual growth. The terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
Imobiliare will create a new financial division led by DSA founders Razvan Greciuc and Doru Iliescu—as well as Dan Niculuae, Head of New Business at Imobiliare—to offer financial services to buyers, sellers, banks and financing partners.
Dan Puica, CEO at Imobiliare, said:
"Our aim is now to craft the best solutions for real estate financing in Romania, as a natural continuity to our property finding and selling digital services provided by Imobiliare. We intend to expand and develop our portfolio of digital assets in connection with the real estate needs in order to deliver more value to our buyers, sellers and financing partners across the entire country."
Mihnea Vasiliu, CEO at Ringier Romania (owner of Imobiliare.ro), said:
"We are confident in the growth outlook of the Romanian market. We have been working hard to successfully complete this transaction and we are very happy to expand our digital assets in Romania. Together with jobs and real estate, we can now play a major role in the financing market in order to enable consumers to have a better understanding and access to these services."
Razvan Greciuc, Managing Partner at DSA Advisor, said:
"This represents an important step in our business journey, bringing more than a decade of experience to a whole new level of growth and opportunities. One of our main goals is to come closer to our customers by increasing our reach in the real estate and digital spaces, so that together with the consolidation of our network and our close partnerships with banks, we can provide the best end-to-end financial solutions available. We are very confident that being part of Ringier Romania will have a decisive impact on the development of our services for the real estate market but also for any financial needs."
