Realestate.com.au's new unbiased review platform, Agent Ratings and Reviews, will help agents be more visible on the real estate marketplace.

Realestate.com.au launched to agents in December of last year and since, over 4,000 ratings and reviews have been posted on the platform made by buyers and sellers that have used the platform in the past. Consumer channels and agent invites were used to collect these ratings and reviews and are being used to create a more authentic experience.

Now, users can search and compare agents using the recent ratings and reviews on realestate.com.au which will aid in the process of making more street-smart decisions when selecting an agent for their real estate needs.

On the other end, users who have already used the services on realestate.com.au and have worked with agents, can leave reviews and ratings directly through the platform's Agent Profiles. This feature is unique because it also allows agents to challenge any reviews they might deem as being fake. Agents can reply to all reviews, as well.

Realestate.com.au sifts through all of the reviews to avoid any reviews made falsely. This ensures that all reviews posted on the platform are from real clients who have worked with agents on realestate.com.au within the last 12 months.

Rachel Morley, REA Group General Manager – Leads, said, “It’s fantastic to launch Agent Ratings and Reviews on realestate.com.au to Australians. We know it’s an experience both our customers and consumers have been looking forward to.

“Ratings and reviews have become an integral part of research in today’s digital world, but not all services are the same.

“To ensure Agent Ratings and Reviews on realestate.com.au are authentic, unbiased, and that agents are being represented fairly, the experience will only feature reviews from verified past buyers and sellers.

“The response so far has been incredibly positive, but we will continue to work together with our customers to further iterate our offering. We know there is a big desire from agents to share reviews from realestate.com.au to other platforms and we’re looking into how we can achieve this.”

Realestate.com.au is among Australia's most popular real estate websites and community. Whether you're looking to buy, sell, rent or share, we have the tools available to help you find the perfect place.

More than just listings, realestate.com.au offers weekly auction results, inspection and auction times and directions, apps for mobile phone or tablet, information in the form of articles, checklists, and inspiration to aid in the property hunting or renovation process.
