Homes England, the UK government's home selling accelerator, has recently launched a new interactive tool which should help builders find plots of public land to develop on.

Almost 2,500 acres of land ready for development will be made available to house builders, including small and medium-sized companies, to purchase via a new online platform called Land Hub.

In total, 148 sites will be made available through Land Hub in the next 18 months. Each site will be listed with details of its planning status, size and proposed use, such as residential, industrial or commercial.

The tool is being launched at MIPIM property conference in Cannes, France. It replaces Homes England’s Land Development and Disposal Plan.
