High Profile Events has launched an online platform where freelancers and clients from the event industry come together. Freelancers can present themselves to the market in various ways at www.events.nl/freelancers. Clients working at corporations, event agencies, and suppliers can publish their assignments and search for suitable freelance professionals.

A previously published file in Magazine Events shows that the growing event industry is attracting more freelancers. On one hand, it's due to how many event professionals crave more independence and flexibility in the way they work. On the other hand, because the organization of events is accompanied by summits and conferences, which require temporary additional knowledge and manpower.

Freelancers are looking for more connection

According to Stefan Heerholtz, Co-owner of High Profile Events, the launch of this freelance platform is a logical step: “Every day we bring the news from the business events industry and give many companies a stage to focus their products and services on our website and in our Events magazine. As a connecting party, freelancers increasingly ask us what we can do for them."

Bringing supply and demand together

With this platform, High Profile Events offers freelancers various opportunities to present themselves to the thousands of clients from the event industry, who visit the website www.events.nl daily. “They can also search for assignments here and be informed and inspired by the news and background articles that we publish in the field of freelance entrepreneurship and the event industry. Every month they receive our FreelanceFlash in their mailbox for free. This platform therefore combines various functions and that saves our freelancers time."

Nathalie Schalke, Freelance Editor and Stylist at StC has already created a company profile: “As a freelancer it is important to be 'in the picture' so that I can capture the attention of potential clients. The extensive and diverse network of High Profile Events is a valuable source for acquisition for both my styling business and my content creation. The registration process is simple. Within no time there was a clear profile online with which I can present myself well.”

Increase range

The platform is also appreciated on the clients' side. According to Heerholtz: “They often use the same freelancers. The moment there is a need for more manpower or expertise in another field, they can now search in our database. In addition, they publish their assignments free of charge on this platform. We thus increase the reach of all our customers.”
