Migration (IOM) and bdjobs.com have recently debuted their new platform for talent seeking overseas work while implementing measures of better transparency and accountability in hiring.
Only government-authorised agencies will be able to post hiring announcement on the platform—Bdesh Jobs—and anyone can browse it through mobile application and web version (bdesh.bdjobs.com), said Fahim Mashroor, CEO of bdjobs.com.
He spoke at the launch programme held at the InterContinental Dhaka hotel.

There are about 1,200 government-approved overseas recruitment agencies in Bangladesh and Bdesh Jobs will verify all the postings before placement. Sharon Dimanche, Deputy Head of Mission of the IOM, said the initiative is expected to help jobseekers looking for reliable and safe ways to go abroad for a decent living.
