"Yo, jefa" ("Me, a boss") is the latest initiative from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) launched by the communication agency Trescom, which seeks to create and visualize female referents that serve as inspiration for Spanish teenagers and young people. So far it has been presented in an act held at IE University, attended by the Secretary of State for Equality, Soledad Murillo, and the founder of Spain Startup-South Summit, Maria Benjumea, as well as representatives of the companies and academic entities collaborating in the program such as IE University, ESADE Business School, IMF Business School, Cigna, Criteo, Endeavor, Línea Directa, Mediapost, Red Eléctrica, VASS, Wayra and Women in Tech, among others.

During the act of presentation of the program 'Yo, jefa', the Director of the Center of Diversity of the IE University, Celia de Anca, has indicated the importance of promoting the "entrepreneur spirit for the future leaders in all the stages of their formation". For its part, Isabel Lozano, Director and CEO of Trescom, has stressed the commitment of the company that founded 10 years ago with the advancement of women. Not in vain, the three managing partners of Trescom are women and 90% of the management team, too.

"We believe that this initiative is good for women, but also for men. An egalitarian society is good for all and hundreds of reports and studies show it. That is what we want, despite the visible and invisible conditions that still exist in society and that hinder women's access to managerial positions. Young women today are focused on women who are occupying those positions, and in turn they can say that they also want to be heads," said Lozano.

In this sense, the Secretary of State for Equality, Soledad Murillo, recalled precisely that "what is not seen, does not want to be" and, therefore, has highlighted the importance of the program 'I, boss', which puts the Focus on women leaders who have been "ambitious" in their careers.

"It's fantastic to be ambitious, to believe in you, to be irreverent and intransigent. We are 51% of the population, but we are still very cautious and ask for little, so it is important that we learn the value of words and that of a boss is a wonderful," he stressed.

During the day it was explained, in addition, that the first of the start-ups is a "census of bosses" - online and offline - called 'The prodigious decade of women's entrepreneurship'. It includes 55 success stories of founders and co-founders of the most outstanding Spanish startups of the last ten years, with the aim of inspiring young women.

This initiative, whose first edition took place on July 3, at the IE University, will promote the leadership of women and will make visible feminine references "to serve as inspiration to young Spanish women", as reported by the agency communication.

Thus, the "census of heads" is a guide that shows the trajectory of the entrepreneurs who have voluntarily accepted this program, in whose second phase they will participate in different activities with the aim of inspiring young students.

In this sense, the Director and CEO of Trescom, Isabel Lozano, explained that the document will be published annually to give visibility to the career of women leaders in different sectors, focusing on its first edition in the sector of entrepreneurship.
