British estate portal, Purplebricks, has brought on Weber Shandwick PR firm to help with its non-investment related public relations, moving forward.
Weber Shandwick has its global headquarters on New York’s Third Avenue but it has offices in 81 countries around the world, including the UK.
It is operating as the global public relations agency for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games; recently, it was revealed that Purplebricks had spent an undisclosed sum to become the ‘official estate agent’ of Team GB for the Olympic and Paralympic events next year.
On its UK website Weber Shandwick says: “…we deploy leading and emerging technologies to inform strategy, develop critical insights and heighten impact. We help clients predict and manage risk to enhance and protect reputations ‒ and enable us to activate bold ideas across channels, news cycles and geographies for our clients. To fuel fandom. To build loyalty. To make an impact. To make a difference.”
The controversial estate agency no longer has any involvement with Instinctif PR, which has a number of other property industry clients.
