Employer branding and marketer That Little Agency alongside Eploy have joined forces with Toolstation in a bid to enrich the candidate and recruitment experience for users.
When implementing a brand new Applicant Tracking System it is important to consider how the ATS will work with your careers site.
Traditionally, many ATS solutions have a poor experience when it comes to candidate journey. The “classic” ATS journey would be to start from a well-designed careers site that focuses on candidate experience and engagement through the employer proposition and then on clicking through to a job to apply, ending on a poorly designed template, often running on the ATS providers domain name with no easy route back to candidate centric content.
ATS solutions often fall short delivering on candidate experience. While they can be easy and cost effective to set up, they lack in branding, often have a URL not associated with the company, double vacancy details (when clicking from a job board or 3rd party CMS to the ATS pages) and have a confusing journey/navigation.
Emma Issitt, Recruitment Manager at Toolstation commented, “We now have the foundations in place to deliver an enhanced candidate experience aligned to our business culture and recruit at scale. Our ambitious growth plans can be supported through a flexible recruitment system and a careers site that can continually evolve.”
