Wedge, an online video interview startup, has recently embarked on a new partnership alongside JazzHR to strengthen their own recruiting process for the company and candidates alike.
Matt Baxter, Founder and CEO of Holland-based Wedge, said last month his business partnered with Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based JazzHR to allow users of JazzHR’s applicant tracking system, or ATS, access to the 4-year-old Wedge platform — and vice versa — to streamline the hiring process for human resources departments and applicants.
“JazzHR is the easiest to use on the market,” Baxter said. “They work with over 5,000 small to medium-sized businesses. Our solution serves as an integrated add-on to their system, allowing their customers to send and receive video interviews right from their JazzHR workflow.”
HR providers that have a JazzHR account and want to use the Wedge video interviewing platform can follow a series of steps to sync the two services.
Once they have done so, they can create an open position to list within Wedge, then create questions that candidates can see and answer in short videos.
Through the JazzHR ATS, recruiters and hiring managers can then keep track of candidate profiles and watch completed video interviews.
“JazzHR is a phenomenal partner for Wedge, because we have very similar customer targets, and our systems complement each other very well,” Baxter said.
“Beyond seamless functionality, the JazzHR team has been really fantastic at pushing our product to their current customers.”
Under the partnership, JazzHR and Wedge have entered into a mutual revenue-sharing agreement in which client referrals and closed deals with customers in both directions generate agreed-upon sums the platforms will pass over to each other, depending on which company did the referral.
