NextPax, a channel manager that connects properties for rent on all booking platforms, has announced the launch of a direct booking technology advancement through Google for property managers to list their vacation rental properties on Google Hotel Search.
The aim behind the launch is to give property managers the capability to direct visitors directly to their own respective brand websites, rather than channeling them through a third party website or iFrame, where an HTML document is embedded within another on a website.
The global travel tech company was previously selected to work alongside Google in creating solutions for the global vacation rental market when it was still a nascent tech startup.
In a statement, NextPax CEO Erik Engel said: “Our aim is to put the supplier’s website first by sending traffic directly. By doing this we avoid intermediate solutions like external landing pages.”
Google launched its Hotel Search product earlier this year and announced that it was adding vacation rentals to it back in March.
Property managers will therefore benefit as a result of the collaboration as they can strengthen their own brands through increased traffic thanks to the direct bookings that NextPax will be able to facilitate.
