WRAPP app drives truck transport industry in South Africa as a job portal

WRAPP (Waste Recycling App) is a mobile app from South Africa that links independent truck runners with clients. 

The fast-growing app-based service gives businesses and professionals a quick and convenient way to remove waste from worksites.

Using the app, small businesses, construction companies, shopping centres, renovators, housing complexes and homeowners can book a truck or skip, local drivers and a loading teams who will collect the waste for responsible disposal – all tracked and recorded online.

Essentially, WRAPP is the waste removal equivalent of ordering a ride on Uber. “We want to spare you the hassle of sorting out your waste while creating work for truck owners in an environmentally conscious way,” says WRAPP founder, Clive Amsel. “It’s one of the primary reasons we exist.”
