One of Turkey’s leading real estate marketplaces, Hürriyet Emlak, has launched new mobile and desktop websites as well released a brand new platform for real estate agents to manage their listings, track their performance and manage other day to day services called MyAccount.

Founded in 2006, Hürriyet Emlak has become one of the most recognized brands for real estate advertising in Turkey — the world’s second-largest real estate market in the region in terms of number of  transactions. The site connects interested property buyers with real estate agents and developers. It is a subsidiary of Doğan Holding and has made work of transforming Turkey’s historically inefficient and murky property sector. Hürriyet Emlak has committed to continuing its investment into the Turkish real estate market and plans to accelerate its growth and cement its market position by building a symbiotic relationship between its engaged property audience and transparent listings from agents and real estate developers.

Hürriyet Emlak CEO Theo Mseka says:

“My aim since joining the company a year ago has been to transform Hürriyet Emlak's platform into a world leader. Over the years we’ve seen an interesting shift taking place as emerging markets become more sophisticated, and consumers as well as real estate agents become more demanding of the tools and services they use. Technology has empowered the consumer, agent and real estate developer to expect immediate access to information and their needs are evolving faster than at any point in our history."

Hürriyet Emlak believe the process of buying, selling or renting a home in Turkey is one that could still benefit from both innovation and improvement in customer experience by increasing transparency in the market making it more trustworthy. The recent launch makes searching for a home in Turkey simpler, better and much faster than before. The newly released MyAccount, the tool for professional real estate agents to manage properties on Hürriyet Emlak, is the base from which the company looks to add richer and deeper functionality for the real estate industry. The company has built the foundations and are ready to expand on this in the new year to further benefit the Turkish consumer, real estate agents and developers.

Despite Turkey’s recent sluggish economy, Mseka says:

“We will continue to build a long-term sustainable business and use our resources more efficiently in the short-term. The Turkish real estate market presents exciting challenges and we’re passionately confronting and testing them. This launch is the first of many steps we will take as we transition from a media business into a World Class Internet Technology Company with deep domain expertise in the Real Estate Market. This year we’re built a very strong, talented and passionate team that are vigorously pursuing our goals and we look forward to the next phases of our evolution in 2020 and beyond.”
