Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, has remained the favorite destination of Filipinos for New Years Eve celebrations for the fourth year in a row.

This is according to the hotel booking website Agoda, which also mentioned Cebu (2nd), Boracay (4th), Tagaytay (6th), Baguio (8th), and Subic (10th) in its list of top 2019 New Year’s Eve destinations among Filipinos.

And when it comes to ushering in the new decade abroad, Agoda bookings by Filipinos in Tokyo (3rd), Taipei (5th), Osaka (7th), and Hong Kong (9th) were also popular.

Similarly, domestic travel remains the top option for Filipinos in 2019. Manila and Cebu dominated the list, which also included Boracay, Baguio, Palawan, Tagaytay, Davao City, and Bohol.

Only two international destinations made the cut as Hong Kong and Tokyo ranked 9th and 10th, respectively.
