Kovorks, a flexible office company based out of the United States, announced recently that it will be teaming up with Marvel Infrabuild to establish the biggest co-working site within India. The announced site will have around 25,000 desks.

The proposed luxury co-working facility in Whitefield main road will be spread over 15,000,00 square feet. Kovorks currently operates flexible offices across 7 locations in the US and Malaysia.

“India’s co-working segment has seen remarkable growth in recent years and is now a catalyst of sorts for modern workspaces. We desire to create a new design for workspaces and disrupt the conventional office leasing demand and supply equation. The goal is to change the language of commercial real estate booking from per-square-foot to per-seat-per-desk,” said Mallikharjuna Upputuri, Director of Kovorks India.

In the first phase, Marvel plans to add 1,60,000 square feet, of flexible space in Whitefield. The second phase totaling to 1.5 mm square feet will be completed by 2023.

Additionally, Marvel Infrabuild plans to develop 3 mn square feet of commercial space targeting Co-working and Coliving operators in the next 3 to 5 years under the brand name Marvel Innovminds.
