Rightmove's Featured Properties Feature is Glitching Out

July 21, 2020

Even the most established companies run into technical difficulties every now and then.

It’s come to light that Rightmove’s Featured Properties display works on their desktop, but for a couple of weeks, has not worked on their mobile app- specifically the iOS version.

The Featured Property display appears in the search results at the top of each page. It’s meant to be available for both the desktop and app versions of the website.

However, it’s been discovered that the feature shows up only some times on the iOS app.

Rightmove had ignored the problem until just recently and are said to have begun working out the bug, but only after they were able to replicate the glitch themselves.

More controversially, the agents behind the Featured Property listings aren’t getting reimbursed for their missed opportunities because of the glitch. Sounds like something Say No To Rightmove should jump on as soon as possible.
