Weeks after announcing its first brand ambassador, Australian real estate portal, Homely.com.au, has announced further marketing moves, this time in the form of a sponsorship to Harcourts Property Centre’s Hairgust fundraiser.
Equalling $3,000, the funding will go towards pancreatic and bowel cancer research.
Harcourts Property Centre Co-Directors Aaron Brooks, said:
“Both Sam and I have had personal experiences with cancer, and we’re so thankful for Homely’s support to a great cause that is so dear to us and close to our team’s hearts.”
Sam Devlin is the other co-director of the company. Devlin said:
“We initially had a goal of $10,000 in mind, but we’ve been absolutely blown away by everyone’s generosity and ended up exceeding our goal raising $13,700 in total—an outstanding effort.”
And their goal couldn’t have been over met without the help of Homely.
Erin Hosier, Homely Senior Partnership Manager, said:
“Homely was so proud to attend and sponsor the Hairgust event raising money for such a worthy cause.”
Aaron Moseley, Homely Senior Partnership Manager, said:
“Like Sam and Aaron, the Homely family has been touched by cancer. We’re so grateful to Harcourts Property Centre for running this event and giving us the opportunity to help fund research towards finding a cure for this terrible disease.”
