New move in the Adevinta, eBay Classifieds acquisition. Adevinta has appointed Alexandre Collinet as Integration Director to spearhead the integration with eBay Classifieds Group.

Collinet brings with him, a vast amount of deep knowledge and senior experience of how Adevinta does things. He has led the French online classifieds company, leboncoin, for over a decade and has overseen both the commercial and functional teams responsible for the development of that brand.

Rolv Erik Ryssdal, CEO of Adevinta, said:

“His appointment comes at a pivotal point in Adevinta’s evolution, as we embark on the creation of the world’s leading online classifieds company. I am confident in his ability to guide us through this exciting period of change and to help us realize the full value of the proposed combination with eBay Classifieds Group.”

Before leboncoin, Collinet worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, was CFO and COO of NRJ Global, and worked for Metro France.

On his own appointment, Alexandre Collinet said:

“Having been part of the incredible growth story at leboncoin, I am excited to take on my new role as Integration Director at Adevinta at such an important moment in the company’s history. I look forward to working with the team as we focus on unlocking the full potential of the combined business.”

Adevinta announced the acquisition of eBay Classifieds Group in July of this year and the deal is expected to be completed in early 2021.
