Leboncoin Real Estate Department Direction Talks on How the Company is Combatting Covid

December 14, 2020

Many companies around the world saw huge dips in revenue and traffic due to the lockdown efforts to combat the spread of the Covid virus. One such was a French property portal giant, leboncoin, which saw a decrease in traffic of 40%.

To remedy this loss in audience, the portal has come up with two new innovative solutions to make up for losses.

Aurélien Flament, Automotive and Real Estate Department Director, leboncoin Group, explained in a recent interview with immomatin, the company has been focusing on advertising agents in the best ways possible. Leboncoin has redesigned part of its platform, optimizing real estate agent pages to better display their unique expertise, specifically with added video and photo content.

Another solution has been the launch of Immo Performance Pack, a suite of products for agents to send out to their customers that automatically upload ads with boosted visibility.

Flament said in the interview:

“Until now, our solutions were primarily intended to seek out buyers to put them in touch with professionals. The Immo Sellers Pack will, for the first time, allow them to carry out digital prospecting. Thanks to machine learning, we study the behavior of our users and we are able to identify sellers even before they place an ad.”

Though 2020 is almost over, companies know they aren’t free from the market-specific hurdles Covid has wrought on the industry. The dip in traffic was brief, it was enough to boost innovation development at leboncoin.
