Last week, we reported that even after its acquisition by CoStar Group, Homesnap would continue its commitment to Broker Public Portal (BPP)

To further prove that claim, BPP and Greater Southern MLS (GSMLS) have both announced that GSMLS’ agents will gain access to Homesnap, which is the public-facing real estate brand of BPP. With this agreement, GSMLS and its +700 members connecting with Homesnap will mean that BPP covers more than 90% of all property listings in the U.S.

Webb Jay, President of Greater Southern MLS and President of Webb Jay and Associates, explained:

“Greater Southern MLS offers members ways to reduce operating costs while increasing listing exposure and providing new lead generation opportunities. By working with the BPP, we are delivering through Homesnap a best-in-class technology that provides at once, all three benefits to our members.”

BPP is owned and run by real estate brokerages and MLSs. With Homesnap and BPP’s combined inventories, GSMLS will gain access to over 33 million consumers and over one million real estate professionals in the U.S. via +230 leading MLSs.

Joe Rand, executive director, BPP, commented:

“Greater Southern MLS commitment to helping its members connect to millions of consumers -- and with each other -- through BPP with Homesnap is a path that helps every MLS increase the value it offers.”
