Interview: Melissa Maher on Expedia's need to diversify

Expedia Group is looking to add a more diverse workforce to keep up with its current global expansion, having sourced a third of its business outside of its headquarters in the United States.

Expedia Group provides online travel services for leisure and small business travelers. The company offers a wide range of travel shopping and reservation services, as well as provides real-time access to schedule, pricing, and availability information for airlines, hotels, and car rental companies. Expedia Group serves customers worldwide.

Melissa Maher, senior vice president of marketing and innovation at Expedia Group, is responsible for the “Leading 4 Change” program, which includes driving diversity and inclusion at the global travel company.
