The Swedish real estate portal Boneo has announced that Svenska Mäklarhuset has chosen to list its properties on Boneo and has become a shareholder in the portal's holding company.
Described as one of Sweden's leading brokerage chains, Svenska Mäklarhuset has around thirty offices which will now list on the challenger portal.
"Both connecting all our brokerage offices and becoming a partner in Boneo AB feels like an obvious and natural step to take. Boneo has recently shown that they are a player in housing advertising to be reckoned with. We look forward to the collaboration and are convinced that this will benefit both our customers and employees", Niclas Spång, chairman of Svenska Mäklarhuset.
"We are very happy to welcome Svenska Mäklarhuset to Boneo, both as a partner for housing advertising and as a new co-owner. We look forward to welcoming all their brokers and office owners in the best possible way so that they can get the most out of Boneo and all the values it means for their housing deals and customers", said Fredrik Engdahl, CEO at Boneo.
According to a press release, Svenska Mäklarhuset agents will benefit from unique advertising and matching services as well as free seller leads. The portal, which was launched in 2020 by several large brokerage firms, claims that its users are more likely to transact than those of other real estate portals.
In the vendor-paid Swedish market, Boneo competes with publicly listed Hemnet.
