The Dubai-based real estate portal Bayut has launched an AI-powered real estate search assistant. Named BayutGPT, the feature answers users' queries on where to live and gives up-to-date data on the country's real estate market as well as neighbourhood-level statistics.
Haider Khan, the CEO of Bayut and the Head of Dubizzle Group MENA, said:
“BayutGPT represents a significant step forward in Bayut’s commitment to staying ahead of the curve and enhancing the search experience for property seekers in the UAE.
With this feature, we are leveraging the power of AI to take on the responsibility of further diving deeper into the complex journey of property search for our users.
This milestone reaffirms our commitment to innovation and sets a new standard for excellence in the real estate industry. We are excited to embark on a new era of real estate exploration with BayutGPT.”
Displayed prominently on the portal's homepage and app, BayutGPT is a chat interface that looks and works much like its namesake ChatGPT with users needing to be logged in to interact. The company is hoping that its online assistant will "redefine property search" in the UAE.
Bayut is one of many real estate portals to have released AI-powered product updates in 2023. Last month Chinese real estate portal operator 58.com announced that it would be unveiling a new AI-powered virtual reality product for users later in the year and British portal OnTheMarket announced an AI-powered voice search assistant.
