UK challenger portal OnTheMarket has announced that it will include its property maintenance, contractor management and works order tools for free via its TecLet lettings and property management solution.
The free integration will give users access to a portfolio of over 18,000 contractors across the UK to improve agents' ability to find and use their preferred suppliers.
OnTheMarket will also offer a Premium package to TecLet users via the Plentific property maintenance platform—which is integrated into the OnTheMarket software ecosystem—for an extra fee.
Alan Blockley, CEO at TecLet, part of OnTheMarket Software, said:
"The inclusion of Plentific’s maintenance management and work orders within the TecLet platform at no additional cost is a major step forward.
"It’s a huge ‘value add’ for agents and property managers as it provides core property maintenance and work orders functionality as an included element within the existing OnTheMarket Software subscription."
Meanwhile, OnTheMarket has extended its sponsorship agreement with leading UK sports radio station talkSPORT for a fourth consecutive year. The deal will see OnTheMarket promoted in five advertorial slots per live Premier League game for a minimum of 97 matches in the 2023/24 campaign.
Jason Tebb, CEO at OnTheMarket, commented:
"I’m delighted to be continuing our relationship with talkSPORT as one of their Premier League airtime partners for the new football season. I know many of our agent customers enjoy listening to the radio station between viewings, so it’s incredibly exciting to be promoting their portal across a channel they themselves are engaged with alongside millions of sports fans.
"We are continuing our efforts to build awareness of our instant online valuation tool as part of our ongoing consumer engagement strategy to attract serious property seekers to our site and connect them with our agents. Our continued association with talkSPORT is an integral part of our efforts."
OnTheMarket recently added functionality for real estate agents to promote their own partners on listings for added revenue-generating potential.
For an extra fee, agents will be able to 'drag and drop' partner businesses (mortgage brokers, financial service providers etc.) into one of four sections of an OnTheMarket listing, including banner ad space and a mid-page unit.
